Home care tips that could mean a better checkup

View All Posts

Good oral hygiene starts at home. And, quality care at home could mean a better check up next time you’re in the dentist’s chair. A few simple tips could make a big difference in the quality of your smile

Make sure you have the right toothbrush for your mouth. Make sure it isn’t too big or too small for your frame. You should also be sure to brush using a 45-degree angle technique using small strokes and in small sections. Consider using a mouthwash to ensure a more thorough cleaning. You should also floss your teeth twice a day as recommended by the American Dental Association. In addition, one of the most often overlooked factors in good oral health is a well-balanced diet at home. Eating an assortment of healthy fruits, vegetables, dairy and protein ensures your teeth have all the right vitamins and minerals to stay healthy.

But, have no fear of the dentist anyway at The Landing Dental Spa. We pride ourselves in offering the Morgantown area the most relaxing dental environment possible. Our services include several comforting and complementary amentias like heated massage chairs, neck pillows, spa music and more. Call us today to schedule your next appointment.
