MEET THE SPEAKMAN FAMILY
Brian and Rebecca Speakman have been married for 14 years and have three children, all boys. Rebecca is a full-time teacher while Brian is a law enforcement officer.
THE DENTAL EMERGENCY BRIAN FACED
In 2017 Brian Speakman was in a car accident, resulting in emergency dental and medical attention.
“He was broken from head to toe. It was the worst night of my life,” said Rebecca. Brian’s teeth were broken and jagged. As a result, he couldn’t eat or be comfortable with his injuries.
“He didn’t want to smile. He didn’t want to have visitors and see people face to face,” Rebecca continued, “When this happened, I knew I needed someone I could trust. Someone who was going to be kind, and I couldn’t think of anybody better than to come to Carly.”
Brian had a lot of uncertainty, fear and anxiety leading up to his procedure with The Landing Dental Spa. “Once I was here, and once I met the staff, I started to feel like things were going to be alright,” said Brian.
HOW WE HELPED
Dr. Carly Lemley saw Brian immediately, and she cleared her schedule two days after the Speakman’s could get home from the hospital.
“I don’t think [I can put in] words how grateful and thankful I am for Dr. Lemley and The Landing Dental Spa for what she’s done for me,” said Brian.
“That first visit with Dr. Lemley, the staff was amazing,” said Rebecca.
Dr. Lemley was able to give Brian temporary teeth to help him while the team came up with a permanent solution.
Not only did we help her husband smile again, but we made sure the whole family was catered to and are happy with the dental services we provide.
BRIAN’S RESULTS
“I saw my husband, for the first time, try to interact with people again. On our way out, Brian looked at me and flashed me the first smile I had seen. It made me feel better, made me feel like we were going to be okay. So, Dr. Lemley gave my husband his smile back,” said Rebecca.
Before Brian’s accident, he did not like going to the dentist. Our staff changed his mind – “It was a tremendous relief when things worked out the way they did with Dr. Lemley and The Landing Dental Spa and how they just kinda catered to your needs.”
Brian and Rebecca’s children enjoy going to us for their dental appointments. We make our spa-like atmosphere comfortable for the whole family. “We get more grief trying to get them to go out to eat with us than to actually come to the dentist. It’s pretty funny,” said Brian.
“I have been through probably the worst-case scenario that a person can go through, and she has made that experience not so bad. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have that smile and confidence back,” said Brian.
“I’ll never forget seeing him smile for the first time after that accident,” said Rebecca.
